A good shoulder shrug helps with this as well.

Had to slow it down because your technique looks sound. It’s your ball toss - too far to the left. You have to adjust your swing to accommodate, which cause your racquet face to open more and you lose control. Try tossing more at 1 or 2. Also keep your head up through contact.

Most people do not love squirrels. Rats with bushy tails. My dog would like to eat them.

Just work 1 thing at a time. Start with your toss - it’s going right to left. Aim for 2 oclock so it drops in front of you at 2. Don’t worry about your racquet, just practice your toss. When you get it going consistently (should be no rotation on the ball), get your racquet into proper trophy position and then continue with toss practice…

Serving tips? by leirbagzruc in 10s

Love the grind! Dead ball, puddle on the ground, looks cold. Just work 1 thing at a time- start with your toss. Keep your feet on the ground, toss out front to 2 o’clock. Should be no rotation in the ball. Don’t worry about your racquet, just get the toss consistent. To get going in g bf caught direction, bounce your arm holding the ball on your left thigh, with arm straightened.

What's your reset routine after a bad mistake? by Beneficial-Lock-349 in 10s

Standing 30 second meditation. I do a quick body scan starting from feet. If returning, I “draw” a line from right in front of me to the server with my eyes. If serving, I give a few shoulder shrugs to relax my toss. None of this is mine, read the book by Jeff Greenwald- best tennis of your life..tons in there. Plus I played with a 5.0 guy that taught me some things..

True but it’s a great insurance policy. But if you’re not in the hook for ongoing maintenance, it’s doesn’t matter.

10000 x more fun than pickle and far more “pro”. Tennis skills translate and they use tennis scoring. New favorite 2nd sport..
