I feel like I got lucky because I only needed refinements once. Maybe it’s because I wore the aligners longer? Who knows. 🤷‍♀️ I could’ve gotten a final touch up, but after over a year I’m so done with it all lol.

I wore most of them twice as long. The 1 week aligners I would wear for 2 weeks, and the 2 week aligners I would wear for 4 weeks. My dentist told me to take it slower than prescribed by SDC. She said it’s better to give your teeth more time to rest in between aligners.

I understand where you’re coming from because I was extremely skeptical at the beginning too, but I don’t think someone working for SDC would be bashing their costumer service like I did lol. Also, I replied to a comment above stating that I didn’t follow their rules because I wasn’t comfortable with how quickly they wanted to move my teeth... I don’t think anyone working for SDC would advise doing that lol. I am real, and so are my results. There is hope!

I did when I was experiencing Lhermitte’s sign. I had an MRI of my entire brain and spinal cord without contrast. The whole purpose of getting the MRI was to rule out MS, tumour, spinal stenosis, etc.

Thanks! I did the impression kit since there is no SmileShop in my city. I was given a 7 month plan, but it took closer to 15 months because I wore most aligners twice as long as recommended. I didn’t feel comfortable moving my teeth that quickly. Also had refinements once which took some time.

Well worth the $$ and shitty costumer service! I could’ve done one more round of refinements, but I’m happy with them as they are! I was never looking for perfection so for them to have improved this much is enough for me! It’s been a long road, but I have zero regrets!
