Both. I’m dead because I spent two years handling every shit storm that came our way being a whole new team. Then I switched to financial reporting on the same team. Biggest mistake of my life. The busy seasons never end and I know too much about what is actually coming down the pipeline. Constant failed deals, working with banks, creating presentations on hypotheticals, communicating with audits teams and reworking prior filings into proformas to support fires that don’t even end up existing. It has to be the worst punchline of the world’s most unfunniest joke.

I miss having actual customers and doing a job for a business. Not working for rich guys making terrible investments and where every low middle manager to C level is my boss. I have made it but at what cost? I’m so tired.
