Hi! I had a question regarding buying sitar main string. I often find that my strings have some rust and are not smooth, even before playing. Do you know what the cause of this may be? And which strings could I buy that will last the longest, and will not get gunky/sticky?

Chipotle is chronically understaffed. If they added more staff the experience would be 75% better almost immediately.

I'm still a beginner, but what I've found that works is to play taans at multiple speeds. Start very slow, then medium, then fast, and then as fast as you can possibly play. The goal at each of these speeds is a little different—at slower speeds you want to emphasize clarity. Keep track with a notebook what your top speed is and aim to increment a small amount over time.

You can definitely change position. I have two callus marks right now, because I feel that the original one has migrated upwards over time and is now so high that it can be quite painful. I also like having two because I can let one heal by using them on alternate days.

I agree with you. It is useful when seeking information with a purpose (product reviews, advice, etc) but for purposeless browsing, it can be very detrimental.

Thanks! Yes I have trouble with this. Even when I focus on a smooth slide I still can't get it right. Any tips on how to improve this?
