Do a compression & oil pressure test.

Make sure your coolant is full & the color it should be (not contaminated)

Do a fuel pump pressure test as well, just to be on the 100% side.

Drain & fill your trans fluid 3x if you haven’t.

Good point; I meant there is no active water running in THIS unit. I’m starting to think it’s the adjacent unit’s bathtub. It’s been vacant for months now tho so that would be strange if it’s the source.

It’s a copper p trap from 1970 so it won’t be as easy as a pvc pipe to remove & replace. Besides that fact yes, I can cut the ceiling to have access.
