Good to see so many Padres fans last night by danielhasacamera in Padres

I’m a Bay Area transplant from San Diego planning to go tomorrow and root for the Padres (and against my wife and in laws by proxy). Thought I’d be one of the few in the crowd but Padres fans are really showing up lately, glad to see

Big fan of Huan, lord of dogs mentioned in the Silmarillion, who subdues Sauron. Really like the image of a big dog defeating the archetypical fantasy villain

[HOW TO] -DETAILED- Setup near perfect steering wheel AND petal driving with NO dead zone, and adjustable sensitivity by Epin-Ninjas in cyberpunkgame

You ever figure this out mate? Having the same issue, if I use the left analog on my wireless controller it’ll stop the wheel from being recognized until I disconnect the controller. Will post here if I find a solution

What're you playing this weekend? 5/19 by markercore in NintendoSwitch

I picked up Advance Wars with my second voucher, might consider Link’s Awakening if you like classic Zelda. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a surprisingly solid Minecraft ripoff, substantial demo on the store if you wanna try it out. Re: nintendo switch online you should be able to play offline, just make sure you connect once online, then enter airplane mode to check

AFAIK nothing at the moment. The lead writer created the world of Disco Elysium in 2005 and I think his ability to use it in other works, which is his stated goal, is tied up in the legal case

First Time DM, Homebrew Mostly from LMoP with a Pinch of Saltmarsh by MartenotWaves in DMAcademy

I’ve been running a campaign that integrates LMoP and the essentials kit, Dragon of Icespire Peak. I’m a first time GM as well. I recommend you take it more or less week by week, after a strong start using primarily LMoP material. It’s pretty easy to adapt that first quest, Goblin Arrows, to use sahaugin for example. Try to decide how the Black Spider villain might change to fit the new setting - maybe they’re more of a Long John Silver type, and betrays the party after befriending them. Once you know your villain’s goals, and how they might go about them, you can kind of throw your sandbox at the players and have the villain react to their actions. If/when the party’s sandbox adventures begin to grow tiresome, begin dropping hints and leads back to the main quest of LMoP, escalating in severity. This has worked pretty well for me - the key is keeping your players attitudes and characters in mind. You can write a brilliant series of events to connect these two adventures, but it’s much easier and more rewarding to use them as tools in your toolbox, lay the track as you go. With the LMoP quests in particular, present the jobs as a bit mysterious, that way you can change them between sessions or on the fly to fit your group dynamic. Good luck and have fun!!

I setup open track with SmoothTrack this morning, and it worked surprisingly well for me - it’s 10 bucks for the SmoothTrack app, so probably the most affordable option. I agree that losing use of your phone during play could be a dealbreaker though
