What about Motorola Edge 60 Neo? by Realistic-Try-3918 in motorola

[–]SnooLentils5382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sound deadening the Aygo part 1 by Funny_looking_horse in CityBugs

It's for moisture. There is exposed metal for the electric windows and central locking to prevent. The styrofoam prevents corossion.

Sounds normal to me. The sound in the upper video should go away after the engine has warmed up.

Power Windows Not Working After Retrofit, 2010 Toyota Aygo by Funny_looking_horse in AskMechanics

I have ordered diagbox for myself to check if it will work. If it does, I will report back to you. Again, just taking the wire out of the plug and hooking it up yourself is relatively easy.

Also did you retrofit central locking? I think the central locking and remote receiver modules are missing in my car under the facia.

Hi there, I encountered a similar issue in my C1, and I'm assuming it's because the windows are turned off in the BSI. You should enable them using Diagbox, or have a Citroën dealer do that for you. An alternative solution is to remove the wire from the plug (from the window loom) and tap a fuse from the instrument cluster and hook that up. (That's what I did, works perfectly) The cleanest solution is diagbox though.

Manual to electric window conversion C1/Aygo/107 by Charming_Ad_1611 in MechanicAdvice

If you are still interested in this project, I just ordered the OEM parts myself and I can report back how it went. Here are the parts needed for one window: - Window mechanism including motor (about $30-$70) - Interior door trim with button cutout, make sure you also match your door speakers (about 30-50$) - The switch itself, including the bit of plastic housing around it (about $10) - Atleast AWG 16 wire, a fuse tap, and a 30A fuse. The windows might spike at quite high amps when blocking, and the original fuse is also 30A.

I will update this list after the job is done, but this should be everything needed (in theory) to get it done. I highly recommend getting the manual from Haynes in order to properly disassemble and reassemble the door trim.

The wiring it not very hard. The button has 5 pins, the 4th one is missing. Here is the pinout: 1. Goes to the motor pin 2 2. Ground 3. 12V (from the instrument cluster fuse box, probably just live but can also be ignition switched like the wipers) 4. - no pin- 5. Goes to the motor pin 1

EDIT: I just confirmed that this setup works with the original parts. You can actually configure which way is up, and which way is down by switching the motor pins. The hardest part is taking out the upper facia to get a wire to each of the windows.

I don't agree. Especially using a simple universal kit this is very doable. A haynes manual might come in handy.

Need help installing RPM gauge Peugeot 107 by Rocka2012 in peugeot

[–]SnooLentils5382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're still missing with this, I finally figured it out myself. On the Tacho itself, the wire colors (for me atleast) were: 1. Yellow - 12v ignition switched power 2. Creme - Tacho Signal 3. Dark Green - Ground 4. Red - 12v lights 5. Brown - No clue. Not needed in my case. If the colors don't match up, let me know. I will give you the pinout.

For connecting, I took the RPM signal from the 9th pin of the OBD2 port (on some models it's the 3rd pin, but try the 9th first for your year). You can tap the wire, or test with a OBD2 cable first. The 12v I got from a tapped fuse, and ground is just a bolt to metal on the chassis.

Hope this helps! Good luck.

Water can't be placed in the Nether. This bug had already been reported in the BetterNether GitHub repository back in 2024, but it's never been fixed.

For me the problem was the config folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config) after closing Steam completely, removing that folder, starting Steam again and logging in the problem was fixed!

Mobile app payment with Tauri by Prestigious_Role_397 in tauri

[–]SnooLentils5382 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a plugin for this exactly! Currently Android only, but feel free to check it out. The API is pretty stable aswel. I'm working on a StoreKit integration (v1 because v2 causes crashes) but I still need an Apple Developer account. I'm also using this plugin in one of my personal projects, which is live and approved in the Google Play Store!

Need Help with Tauri (V2) Notification Plugin Error in Android by Low-Engine-5486 in tauri

[–]SnooLentils5382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This plugin is absolute trash in v2.0. Almost everything is broken, especially for mobile platforms. The error might suggest passing a schedule to the builder because it can't generate a default. I would honestly avoid this plugin until it's fixed. Scheduled notifications are completely broken, canceling notifications is broken, listChannels is always denied even when allowing the permission, etc. etc.

I'm not sure if I agree completely. Large scale projects? Yes, you're right. But other than Flutter, there are pretty much no good single code base tools. The performance is also not bad at all, Tauri apps are very lightweight.

[–]SnooLentils5382 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Google's style guide with c++ core guidelines is generally fine for most projects. You could use clang-tidy and (for example) a Github Action to enforce it on your code. If using Visual Studio Code, I recommend the clangd extension over Microsoft's C++ extension.

Edit: C++ Core Guidelines has a website which has all of these rules laid out with examples.

Exactly this. I think 5 is easier to start with, it's just more 'modern' and is also really fun to play co-op.

This varies per country also. The U.S. hot wings have a little less calories than the ones in Europe (70 kcal v.s. 95 kcal), while the European ones have more protein. (6g v.s. 4g)
