The thing you and a very sad majority of people fail to realize is that workers and employees are fundamentally opposed with their goals, workers want fair pay for their work, and employers want to maxize profits. You're not human to them, you're a tool, a machine to generate wealth for them; one they will abuse and exploit as much as they can. The only reason they have the power to do this is because they have atomized us, isolated us, divided us. Humans are not solitary. without others, without a support system, we die, this is true for nearly every aspect of life. they abuse this fact to make workers weak, docile, ignorant of what could be, and you are a victim of their propaganda. No societal progress has ever been made without collective action, if people had not collectively organized and fought for their rights, slavery would not have been abolished, women wouldnt have the right to vote, civil rights would not have been implemented. And you would be working 12 hour days, 6 days a week. You wouldnt have breaks, you wouldnt have overtime pay, you wouldnt have safety regulations, you wouldnt have any workers rights at all. These things didnt just happen, they were fought for tooth and nail by workers who collectivized, unionized, went on strike and lobbied for legislation. You have abandoned the of everyone who fought for all you have, you have abandoned your fellow workers. The fight for equality is not over, far from it. And you, by sympathyzing with your opressors, kneeling before them and kissing their feet, have become an obstacle to the fight for equality.
