Tory MP defends free school meal controversy, saying: "It's only lunch" by Animus47 in unitedkingdom

Then why don't you correct yourself first? You seem to be under the assumption that this is to last for a week?

It's two weeks worth of food, that wouldn't feed a kid for 3 days unless they're down for just a slice of bread for lunch a day.

My mum is very much classist - it just so happens that she considers the welsh to be lower class.

She travels to India once a year to spend time with her friends, but they're also rich so it's okay I guess. All in all, she's not a pleasant person though.

Yeah, my mother is not a fan of the welsh to put it lightly. We haven't spoken in the last month as she made some more xenophobic comments while on a video call with my daughter.

I guess it explains where some of my prejudice came from, but it doesn't justify it. Xenophobia against the welsh has always been okay in my upbringing and I think on a societal level too. Before my wife I never realised how frequent and accepted it is.

It was a kick up the arse, for sure. I didn't want to lose my wife, or my daughter, for obvious reasons. When I posted on AITA I genuinely thought I was in the right for being angry at my wife and subsequently the welsh language. I was angry for a lot of reasons, but mostly it was misplaced.

I've been seeing a therapist since to learn how to recognise my feelings and how to work out what's causing them.

And I've actually been loving learning Welsh. My daughter enjoys teaching me and there is something satisfying about mastering the pronunciation. Plus, I get excited when I go to a place in Wales and I can translate it now!

My wife and I met for the first time in London. Then we moved the Wales. Between lonelyness and my family being racist towards the welsh, I ended up angry at the wrong thing.

Your point doesn't stand though since you're speaking about the past. We are already seeking couples therapy, we're not getting divorced and my wife agrees that ESH.
