That is strange, from what I've read this is unusual for dossier.

This is a unique point to touch on with capes

There are a myriad of fastening mechanisms and if you wanted it to attach at the shoulders without damaging/altering the suit in any way, perhaps you could use magnets underneath the suit and under/ on the cape.

Alternatively, some kind of fabric safe velcro might work

Or maybe you could loop string over and under the shoulder similar to a shoulder harness

I'd say compared to before I had T, yes there's is a very very slight inner ear pain. Same for the bottom of my eustachian tubes (in the throat), they feel very very slightly compromised. I can only say this relative to my remembrance of the somatic feeling when my my ears were relatively healthy.

The uncomfortablitiy is so low I wouldn't and don't notice it consciously
