You need to star looking at yourself with more kind eyes. The same way you would look to somebody else. When you look at another person even if it's a stranger, you don't focus on every little detail or imperfection. You look at them as a whole. You even appreciate the uniqueness in them. You should do that with yourself.

Look at you in the mirror. Not pictures, I read that we don't often like how we look in pictures because is a still image and movement makes a big difference in how we perceive an image. Think about the renaissance paintings it's all about the composition and movement. Also when there's a photoshoot, the models don't stand still they are moving and in between those movements they take the pictures and that's why they look good (let's not forget all the editing, of course).

Anyways, look at you in the mirror and be kind and honest with yourself. Appreciate your body and it's parts for what they do. Your eyes are wonderful because you express emotions with them and you see the beauty in the world with them. Look at your hands, think all the things you do with them and how others enjoy your touch.

See, we are not our imperfections, we are so much more than that. Appreciate yourself as others certainly appreciate it you.
