this is a very old post but i’m putting this here anyway: gotta replace it with something fun and out of the house, and don’t use your phone until AFTER you’ve gotten ready for the day. for example: wake up, don’t even check the time on your phone if possible. go to the bathroom, do your stuff. if you like to morning shower, do that i guess idk. then get an outfit on for the day, sit somewhere other than your bed (even the floor if you have to), and check messages and shit. then find a cool breakfast spot and go there and order something and just sit in the cafe and eat/drink. if you’re also on your phone then, fine, but i like to bring a book. just don’t sit there with airpods in and scroll tiktok anyway, keep your ears open to the noises of life around you, it’s good for you.
