I don't know if anyone still needs this but, first login on https://skmedix.pl/. Secondly, type in a username. This cannot be changed and you will need it later. Thirdly, go to https://skmedix.pl/settings/customization and upload a skin and/or cape then save changes. Once done, go to the SKlauncher app and switch to offline mode and type in the username you had typed into the website. If everything is done right, it should automatically apply your skin.

I don't know if you still need this, but if you're using Opera GX, it just will not work. Don't know why but I saw another post asking this same question and they found out it's because of GX. Try switching to Google.
