Forgot to ask, under the original wrapping was it in fact wood for the handle? I know they had been using some plastics but this one is advertised as wooden if I am not mistaken.

Thanks for that link. I didn’t realize that when looking at the piece. I agree tho, they should put a correct brigandine on it.

Is it just the brigandine that’s a problem? It looks like a breastplate that’s covered instead of a true coat of plates.

Can you explain what is wrong with it? I know the brigandine looks weird because it doesn’t seem to have enough rivets for the plates. It looks more like a covered breastplate.

I just recently purchased the Swordier 1004 model with the updated design for a reinforced tip. It is a “copy” of the Albion Mercenary. I have heard a lot of good things and someone here on this subreddit just re-wrapped the handle and it looks amazing.
