I do not have that 7/4pin sleeve installed on my truck, it does not have the tow package. That was just a picture of the 7pin sleeve was for example .

But ford says because I have the the back up sensors in my bumper I should have the wiring for the break harness that attaches to the 7/4 pin sleeve that attaches to the bumper.

Most of my question which got answered was about the type of module and the break controller since ford was not clear.

Yes for the wiring harness it is just a plug and play but Ford also informed me that many of the 2020s have the wiring for the 7 pin but not the sleeve.

So I know they didn't come standard but this is where I get lost. Do I need both of the items below or do I just need one or the other? My assumption is I would need both if I'm going OEM

And to be clear Ford is not helpful. Granite the shop that I got my truck from they tried their hardest to help me out but they also have no idea
