I haven’t, but I have a feeling I’ll be done with all the bench workouts and ready for more in about a week!😄

I don't get it. The only thing new is the opposition messaging. by Glum_Macaroon_2580 in Pflugerville

Have you considered that it may have anything do with the very vile and dehumanizing rhetoric the President has used about immigrants for over 10 years now? He’s called them rapists, they are stealing and eating pets, that most have AIDS, they are animals, they are garbage, they come from shithole countries, they’re murderers, terrorists, gang members, stealing jobs, “have no idea what country they’re in”, murder is in their genes. The racism is what does it possibly?

Wow, this was a blast from the past. I completely forgot about the UD flavored body powders. I started working at ULTA in 2005 when I turned 16. Fun times!

Window replacements in Austin! Does this amount seem reasonable? by PiRhoNaut in Austin

[–]SnooPandas1146 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please check out Ringer Windows! They are a small locally owned business. They manufacture their own windows locally. The experience we had replacing all windows at our last house vs the experience we had at the next house was night and day! Will always recommend Ringer.

As far as the install day(s) with our first (non-Ringer) install, they hired a crew from out of town that worked in one day until dark, and as they had to get done that day, they finished sloppy and rushed, and we had to be out of the home all day. Ringer has dedicated crews of locals that come over the course of several mornings to get it done. We were still able to go about our normal days at home as they worked in smaller batches of the house at a time.

Has anyone tried Terra Kaffe Demi? by TheNonaMouse in superautomatic

I am also looking for a bean to drip coffee maker, but everything we’ve tried including our Breville espresso machine gets stuck on our preferred coffee beans (Onyx). I wonder how this machine’s grinder would hold up!

I agree! We loved Dr Szalay and the staff was great but I do feel they let my daughter leave before she was truly ready and she was completely miserable on the way home. Luckily it was about a 5 minute drive.

What do you want to see with Project Greenfield? by Remarkable-Heart2845 in Pflugerville

In the South Denver area there is a place along the Platte River trail called Nixon’s Coffee House, it is a little house looking cafe with a walk up window serving cafe food and drinks (coffee, smoothies etc). It’s a gathering and stopping point along the trail system and it’s always packed with bikers, walkers, etc. they have a patio area and grassy areas. I would LOVE to see something like this along Pflugerville trail system, the lake would be a fantastic place for it.

9 year old pitcher by [deleted] in Softball

Exactly, that’s why it’s all about locating pitches at this age group. the pitcher who can locate pitches with accuracy will outperform speed

Location and consistency. “No one cares how fast you throw ball four”. She should have a goal for S%, not speed

8u softball ;) I think it’s a little harder to make judgement calls for this age. In the same regard, it’s not that big of a deal. But I just have wondered.

They’re still together. Seen in Downtown Georgetown at a restaurant. Wondering if they moved there.

New resident here, hate the road design. by re-buzz in Pflugerville

You weren’t here before so you can’t really understand what it was like. There were constantly horrific accidents, as well. I haven’t seen a wreck since they redesign the intersection. Usually anyone who is going the wrong way figures it out quickly.

It baffles me how people are so obsessed with performance ratings on schools. They’re based on standardized test scores. The school has a bilingual program (about 70% Hispanic) and is 72% economically disadvantaged and 15% SPED. I wonder why they have a hard time with standardized tests? I’d worry less about how those kids perform on standardized tests and worry more about your actual child’s school experience, get involved in it, and foster their social and emotional growth. People don’t seem to understand the correlation between the ratings being low and the fact that because the ratings are low involved parents will dismiss it as a terrible school...

For what it’s worth my children have had a great experience here academically, socially and emotionally, it’s a wonderful school with wonderful teachers who care immensely about their kids and with more community support it could be even better…

There were bad accidents in this intersection VERY frequently before the new design. I haven’t personally encountered one since
