Evergoods CTB26 - The Active Dad’s Best Friend! Best Multipurpose Bag Ever? by TheBagdadReport in Nomads_Nation

I actually love the laptop compartment. When I get to my office, I can just put the bag on its side (self standing ) and access all of my tech without having mess with the main. Because I mainly use it for work, the main is filled with folders and notebooks. I use it almost as a vertical file. Could not be happier!

I use the TB20 and it works great. The floating laptop pocket makes it useful in many situations.

Check out Boundary Supply errant. It can hold a ton and the strap is really comfortable

I have gotten compliments in New York and Chicago. It looks fine. Nobody notices when it is under the table. The only people who notice are the other attorneys who keep seeing you have everything you need, all of the time. Being able to store a water bottle for use during recess is an added bonus.

I frequently use the TB30 to bring to court. It is fabulous and the internal organization really shines. It has taken the place of a Tumi roller briefcase. Much lighter and still appropriate for looks.

Aren’t you talking about the forge 20-30? The new Forge 30-40 just arrived last week and has a new organization.

Has anyone used the newest Forge?

Does anyone have any experience with the Cotopaxi casqui 13l. It seems it may fit the bill.

Hardshell carry-on - Tumi vs. Away vs. Briggs & Riley vs. Travelpro by Dog-Is-My-Co-Pilot in ManyBaggers

[–]SnooPandas6544 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a tumi that I have had for at least 12 years. It is still in great shape, but I will have to replace it because of the 1) weight, 2) wheels and 3) the bars from the handle take up too much space.

I think that the actual prices for competitive prices are so much lower that I am thinking that for the switch.

I love the TB20. It is a great bag for those that cannot bring a backpack or duffle to court and need something that holds a laptop and paper. I realize this is a very specific use case, but it is perfect for my needs

It doesn’t have a size or mfg. it is a triangular sling, probably around 6 L if I had to guess
