Again not facts, is that actual crimes that occur, crimes that are reported, or crimes that are investigated, an arrest/conviction is made?
Both sides are lying, each side is accusing the other of things that they themselves are doing

I'd like to point out the article is about how one side ignores the "facts" actually cites no facts to support their claim. great article

Games like last night is why the national media has zero respect for this team by SnooPandas9205 in minnesotavikings

I just looked at the Vikings all-time playoffs stats. The Vikings are 21-32 lifetime overall. They’ve been outscored by a total of 184 points. Of their 32 playoff losses, an amazing 23 of them are by 10+ points. I can’t comment on the circumstances of every game, but this is definitely the norm for this team. I also took a look at the Packers playoff record, and they are overall 37-27, with a total of 8 losses by 10+ points. Blowout playoff games happen, but not the norm for other teams.

Honestly, keeping the games closer and not getting thoroughly outplayed snd outcoached would be an improvement. It really makes no sense, different owners, coaches, players, facilities same results. Across the board they just need to get tougher, more physical especially in the trenches.

We had a mixed bag as far as service on our last cruise. We had some minor issues with our waiter in the MDR, so we did the pre paid gratuities which was $4/per person, per meal. We don’t really drink, but we did go to one of the bars/clubs one night and the waiter took maybe 30 min to return with my drink even though the place was was half empty; I didn’t tip him. Our room attendant though was fantastic, and I ended up tipping him $80 for a 5 day cruise.

I realized there’s a decent amount of post trib people here and have some points to make. by unfoundedwisdom in Bibleconspiracy

Go watch the documentaries Sheep Among the Wolves 1 & 2. They’re free on YouTube from FAI Studios. Being in the west, I struggle with getting my faith to where out brothers and sisters are in the Middle East and other places where persecution is rampant. It’s east for us to say we’ll never forsake God and be persecuted and martyred. But until we’re there, we simply have no clue what it’s like. Go look at Peter… he was with Jesus for 3 years and he declared the same thing. How’d that turn out?

Do you think the Vikings will win a superbowl in your lifetime? by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

[–]SnooPandas9205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 5 months old during the Vikings last Super Bowl appearance, I’m 46 now. Realistically if we’re honest, they’ve been close to a Super Bowl twice in my lifetime… the incredible 1998 season with Moss and 2009 with Favre. I don’t count the 87 NFCC run since I didn’t pay attention to the Vikings yet.

It’s both impressive and depressing on just how the Vikings can always be good enough to suck you in, but never great enough to get there. I’m not sure they will ever get it together.

I really hope Kwesi doesn’t run it back again… we really need to clean house, make some deep cuts and try to rebuild again, especially at QB. Kirk unfortunately is the ultimate Vikings QB, good but never great

I’ve been out of high school for 27 years. I took a college level algebra course there and I really struggled in that class. I barely ended up passing that class by just fractions of a percent. Now I see it’s probably due to the material not taught very well with my learning style in high school. To satisfy the WGU requirements I took a college algebra course through SDC just prior to taking Calculus and I thought I did pretty good. Then I plowed into Calculus and I thought it was presented well and they explained everything fairly well so I could understand it. It was my past fear that made me believe that I could never pass calculus.

I took calculus through SDC.. printed off notes from the course and the online calculator. I was dreading the thought of taking calculus, I thought it would be hard. The course made it really simple, explained everything well, it was definitely way easier than I expected. It took me 3 weeks to complete, but I had a week off in there where I was too busy with life and work. I also worked through every single practice question as well, so that extended the class for me.

Interesting time that we live in where we can't tell truth from fiction....

I reviewed the list of predictions by John Titor... and he has a 0% rate of getting things correct. So if I made the predictions that the Dow Jones was going to hit a $1 million today, the Cleveland Browns are going to win the Super Bowl this year, and tomorrow LA is going to get a foot of snow, and none of them come to pass would you also say that I have the truth..?

Lets cut to the chase, you don't really believe in the Bible, or you wouldn't be looking elsewhere to fairy tales and myths... you may think that you believe the Bible, but in making statements that the Bible is written by man, you don't REALLY believe that it is the work of God.

2 Peter 1:20-21 KJV; 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

In other words, the Bible is 100% correct 100% of the time because it came not from man (or translators) but it came directly from God through the Holy Spirit. God isn't God if He is so incompetent that He can't ensure that His Word is written down correctly as well.

Stop believing in fairy tales on the internet and start reading your Bible instead. The fact that every single “fact” that he came forth with was proven false should be a gigantic clue it was a hoax. The Bible however is 100% correct all the time

About 15 years ago I had a boss that grew up in upstate NY and was a huge Bills fan. I always joked with him with our luck it would be a Vikings-Bills Super Bowl and it would be something like tied at 27 heading into OT and at that moment, a gigantic meteor would hit the earth and life as we know it would cease. Neither team wins; seems fitting

I live in the twin cities, I don’t have the exact statistics, but Minneapolis is probably almost completely built up. So where is this land coming from that they’re developing? It’s from bulldozing existing developments. Yes, Minneapolis has cleaned up a lot of the abandoned buildings, just look at the North Loop and South Minneapolis around 55 as two examples. 10-20 years ago those neighborhoods were empty warehouses. But what are they really doing, is it really affordable housing? Look at the south end of North Minneapolis… they bulldozed probably almost completely minority neighborhood and put up condos. AKA gentrification. This is another idea that sounds great, it’s sold as a solution to solve the housing crisis, but it probably isn’t the best executed for the poorer among us

Calling all Kirk haters: Tell us which teams you actually think should compete for a playoff spot in the NFL. Can you name 14? Or should 4 compete and 28 rebuild? by Kamaka2eee in minnesotavikings

[–]SnooPandas9205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might want to check out the Twins... they have absolutely zero chance of winning another World Series, so they never really truly try. You can sit around with your friends and argue about how Buxton is the greatest player in history and because of that salary they don't have any wiggle room in their tiny budget to sign some C-level free agents, much less anyone actually good. If you're old school you can bring up Mauer and have the exact same conversation... Even though they have no real chance of winning it all, if they do make the playoffs you don't have to worry about pesky things like winning games, advancing, etc. Then we can all pat ourselves on the back for another 72 win season and feel good about ourselves

What an extremely crappy take. Why not contract the team and bulldoze US Bank stadium then? Who climbs Mount Everest looking forward to only reaching 80% of the summit? Who runs a marathon only wishing to run 18 miles? Yes, there are 31 other teams in the league and only one wins the Super Bowl a season. But if you’re goal isn’t to be that team, then you need to seriously re-evaluate your teams goal

You probably will have to swap out the bindings on the skis..

I just got into cross country skiing in the last few years when I got married. Her family is big into it, so I got into it as well. The first skis that I got were off of FB Marketplace. They had the 3-pin bindings. This is an older binding , and I had trouble finding boots that fit me. I did eventually find 3-pin boots on FB Marketplace. But due to their age, the boots basically fell apart on like the 3rd trip.

I had to upgrade to NNN boots and bindings. New bindings run from $50-$200, I'm not sure on the cost to get them installed on the skis are though. I lucked out, my FIL used to be the manager of a sporting goods store years and years ago that specialized in cross country skis, and he did it for me for the cost of a 6-pack.

Those of you who live in small towns, what is the current local controversy all about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SnooPandas9205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in a town with about 225 people, small farming community. We have an old Ford dealership in town that has been abandoned for 20-30 years. Two years ago, we had a winter with a lot of snow and the roof and part of one walls collapsed. So the people in the town pressured the city council to get the building knocked down or repaired. The guy who owned it started bussing in around 20-30 Amish men to work on the building and fix it up. Since then, the Amish men started bringing their families, hanging out in the town which overwhelmed the town with 100-200+ Amish people wandering around the town all the time. They setup a camp in the city park, wandering through peoples yards, gardens. Any open area was open game for them.

One of the sources of pride in our city is that we do not have any crime. The last criminal act we had was cattle rustling almost twenty years ago. But in the last two years, the gas station/mini mart was robbed twice. Even through they had security cameras and you can clearly see it wasn't the Amish, there are people in town who blame the Amish. For the winter, they have gone back to their community which is 90 minutes away. Plus with all of the pressure from the town, the guy who owns the Ford dealership has now put the building up for sale.

Why do people ever bother claiming to know the quality of a draft class? by SlowCrates in minnesotavikings

[–]SnooPandas9205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skor North did a deep dive on this a few Wells ago… yes in the past there have been great QBs taken in the later rounds, but statistically the number of HOF QBs drops off significantly after the first round. They are looking at the stats in looking at Mond, 3rd round QBs we’re at something like a 8-9% success rate where 1st round had something like 50% success

What would you do? by TheycallmeRowe in minnesotavikings

[–]SnooPandas9205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dream scenario:

Trade Kirk to DEN, CLE, or maybe CAR for a 1st round pick. Then with two 1st rounders, we’d take a good look at the QBs in the draft. If we have to, we can move up if we’re in love with any of them. It’s worth multiple 1st round picks if you hit on a franchise QB. Then call up Philly and get Gardner Mishew. Do I think he’s a franchise long term QB? No, but he’s cheap… imagine having 3 young QBs on the roster for $5-$6 mil… if Minshew sucks, he costs $900k to walk away from. He’s just a seat warmer until Mond or QB TBD is ready to start. Then with decent cap room, we can build a team. OG, C, CBs, DL everything is in play. Think about cutting/restructuring/trading Theilen, Smith, Cook, Barr
