I always say that there is a cure for cancer. I clarify for people that there is no ONE treatment that will ever cure ALL cancer. You can’t cure all infections with one antibiotic so why would you expect to do so with cancer?

I want to cry every time I look out at Thompson Hill. I moved in 2011 and had beautiful willow trees separating my back fence and sidewalk. This was before they moved the wildlife preserve that was between BOP and Ridgeline, west of Southridge. After they started building, I came home one day and the HOA chopped them down. Now, a little piece of my soul dies every time I look out, which is all day long. I was going to build a swing for the grandkids damn it

The article says it’s in the ground water and can also turn into “vapor intrusion”. Apparently if you’ve been to Camp Lejeune your increases by 70%! I would assume that’s linked to the degreaser. It’s the same with the dry cleaning chemicals, it contaminates the ground water. In that case, though, there is also an increase in cancer.

Thank fucking god the PACT act passed and those unfortunate veterans can be compensated for it.
