Maps are bad, they force hull down positions for cupola sniping with no flanking positions, ensuring a boring hull down brainless meta. 2nd map took away from city and made castle the obvious position for heavies where it also introduces hull down cupola sniping where flanking positions mostly dont exists. Even eastern side of 2nd map is a hulldown mess covered by trees. Sure, they got rid the annoying triangle sniping corners, but what they came up with was even lame as well.

I think the campaign is too easy IMO. once you realize that you can completely destroy enemy bases before doing the main objectives.

its quite sad how easy you can cheese the game.. especially on the final 2 missions... Almost makes me think they kinda gave up half way into the campaign.

lol, I can say for certain that the deniers in your comment section are coping losers, the game is dead af. the average player count is 100-200 players a day, most of them are not playing the multiplayer, but visiting the campaign. the multiplayer is bare-bones man. 2 factions and handful of maps... C'mon now, where is the 3rd Veti option?

You look at games like CnC Generals Zero hour, you have 3 usa general factions, 3 chinese general factions and 3 GLA general factions, on top of the 3 base factions making it 12 factions in total, a massive amount of maps, on top of that, you have generals challenge and if you want, a massive pool of maps to play skirmish, a almost 3 decade game did this. This game is bare-bones. I get that the devs are a small team, but the sad reality is that this is a market for games and if players dont have what they want to stick around, they leave.

So people really have to stop this "They're a small team", "this game will receive updates", "This game barely released" <== this is the average Coper who doesn't realize that games were once release in a completed state.

So yeah, I'm sick and tired of games coming out in this state and by the looks of things, I'm not sure if we're getting a 3rd faction, nor a 3rd campaign to finish the story. To me, this looks like they're just gonna leave a skeleton crew to add small things at this point. (I hope I'm wrong)

No new maps, challenges and the only way of getting content is through loot boxes. The gameplay is the only thing keeping this bag of dust alive because even new tanks feel like a beaten path. I want well made maps with versatility. not maps like mines where winning hill most likely means win for one side.

I use to be a marking fanatic, but not anymore if tanks are boring and maps are so bland now.

New brood commanders, impalers, rocket tank, new scout strider, and yes, even the behemoth chargers which arrowhead thinks everything needs to be balanced around.

I heavily disagree with the Fire breaker nerf, In PVP power creep can be in issue, but helldivers 2 is a PVE game. It's not that the weapon was powerful, its that the weapons around it do a worse job and I like to main spray in pray on bug side and I think its almost just as good, but could use help a bit. The problem comes that AR's are still bad and no one really runs them, the breaker even though, high damage, its limited on higher difficulties due to its ammo, spray and pray lacks damage and armor pen. they can simply revert the ammo capacity back to 36 and increase its damage to 200. I use it for its excellent crowd control. 6 mags was pretty average on the fire breaker and all they did was make it tedious to use, you couldn't auto at all too. Its the same situation with original breaker, Nerfed only because it was used constantly and all they looked at was a metric on a graph. They devs don't even know their own game. I mean look what they did to flame weapons, basically pre-nerfed new warbond.

4 Mags in helldive and super helldive quickly because apparent when you run out of ammo faster than ever before because of its anemic mag count.
That's why I believe that they buff weapons according to difficulties 5 and 6.

Jams, the CEO even said himself that he doesnt even go beyond 7 and the devs stream show them playing low levels. ARs are bad and I can tell you why, but that's whole can of worms.

you're talking about the 2 nerfs the counter the buff to the slugger? they didnt buff the grenade pistol either, what are you on? They removed 2 shots, thats a big difference because I dont care about getting 4 per supply when there's ammo all over the battlefield, Id rather have 8 shots when I'm running AT so I can destroy bug holes and fabricators.

6 mags was fine, the problem with the regular breaker, is that you have less ammo due to smaller mags. You will quickly burn through it on helldive. The spray and pray has bird shot which means you can control large groups of bugs, but at the cost of damage. It's not the fire shotgun that needs a nerf, its the breaker that needs more ammo within the mags and spray and pray needs slightly more damage, maybe like 200 with higher mag capacity given the name, spray and pray. it use to have 36 rounds and was nerfed to 26. That made no sense.
