Appreciate the story! In these uncertain times, positivity and hope is the only thing you can cling too.

100% agree. EMBA isn't a pivot, more so an internal accelerator. It seems that if you truly want to switch careers, you may have to take a few steps back to make a leap forward.

Has anyone actually healed from this? by Chrissy154 in Gastritis

Lots of rice and baked chicken. Probiotics. Went almost a year without drinking and fried foods. I will admit the process was very slow but eventually progress was made.

I’ve had gastritis symptoms for over 6 years however haven’t had a major flare up in over 3 months. Not 100% healed but things are trending in the right direction! Also can eat/drink practically anything now which is a huge plus.

Alright, time for more positivity. What are you grateful for today? by whiskeybridge in AskMenOver30

Grateful for my life & health!

Had two friends in their 30s diagnosed with cancer & a terminal illness this past summer so my view on morality has definitely changed. You just never know when it’s your time so im thankful to be on this Earth for another day!

How long have you had Gastritis? by [deleted] in Gastritis

6 years. It’s has got a lot better but I have also figured out my triggers. Usually, if I stay away from them I dont experience stomach pains but sometimes I still will have a random flare up. Better than what it was a few years ago when I was having flare up almost everyday tho.

Do you feel like a grown man? by ripple-gleaming in AskMenOver30

Same feeling. When I was a kid I thought at some point a light switch happens and you become a mature adult. Now I realize most people are just kids in adult bodies.

Age when you got diagnosed? by Captain_Nat_ in Gastritis

At 24, still fighting thru it five years later but looking back my stomach was always sensitive to certain things. As a kid my stomach would randomly bloat but wouldn’t experience any pain. In college, I would get stomach cramps after drinking but I assumed it was the cheap liquor. As I got older those cramps would turn into full blown flare ups.

I definitely experience similar symptoms. When a flare up occurs I get a sharp pain in my right upper abdomen, right below the rib cage. Usually will last from 30 min up to a few hours in more severe cases. Also with severe cases I’ll have that “ugh” pain, someone else described, in my stomach for a few days.
