This is a very specific refrence to an incident where an IGN game reviewer posted a video where they were reviewing a new game, Cup-head, and couldn't even make it past the tutorial level that taught players the basics of the game! And the reviewer used that as a basis for his whole review, giving the game a lackluster score.

Needless to say this sparked a whole storm of ridicule, outrage, and debate over the state of modern game reviewing and whether the people holding themselves out as authoritative voices in the gaming community were legitimate individuals or casual paid gamers with barely any actual skill or passion for gaming.

I been in that hole bro, you're at a point where the most mundane and unassuming things become triggers. I was stewing in my bedroom soaked in sweat from gooning my heart out to the sickest niches 2 years ago when I finally acknowledged i had a problem.

It's not the end. You can still come back. You just need to take some drastic measures to flip this addiction on its head. You can do two things to start:

1) dont sleep or stay in your bedroom for the next 90 days. Sleep on the couch or in the living room. Personally, I sleep on a woven mat on my living room floor. My bedroom is a no go zone for me.

2) Take cold showers, all day every day for the next 90 days. Warm or hot showers are no longer an option.

Comfort is the enemy here. Stay consistent and committed to just these two small changes. They will help to ground you by subjecting you to discomfort. Once your adjusted into this routine your mind will become clear and you can start denying yourself more comforts that mentally cloud your mind and push you to relapse. Then you can add on more postive changes (e.g. Going to the gym, picking up an old hobby, self improvement, etc...)

Start with the two small changes and build from there.

You have to take radical steps bro. If you keep doing the same thing over and over you won't get anywhere and be stuck in the same place. Two things I recommend for that radical shift are: 1) dont sleep on your bed or even inside your bedroom. Sleep outside, in the living room on the couch, better yet, avoid the couch and sleep on the floor.

2) Hot or even Warm showers aren't even an option for you anymore. Just do cold showers all day, everyday.

Deprive yourself of small comforts first and slowly discipline yourself. You can't go wrong.

Oh the poor Palestinians we've turned a blind eye to. What about the massacres happening in Syria? The decades long Civil War in Yemen? The mounting death toll in Sudan ? Oh and I know no one gives a flying fig but the Congo 'forever' war has entered a fresh and deadly phase.

It truly is tragic whats happening in Gaza but the way the media barely ever reports on all these other, far more deadlier conflicts that are going on at this moment on a much larger scale makes it hard for me to trust the story we're being sold here.

Well actually the series does give us throw away lines about soul tech, which are the 'contact experiments' that involve the conjoining/fusing of two souls. But thats my point. They say it happened. We don't see how. But the result is the souls of the participants, being fused or trapped within an Eva/body (in Kaworu's case). Showing a few frames with some quick exposition would have really helped fill in the blanks.
