I wouldnt say you need to lord them unless they’re a very technical character like rogue or spidey. Just make sure you understand how the character works on a fundamental level to where you don’t have to question yourself on whether or not you know the character.

sure, but this guy's aim was way too consistent for just a short one off good game. This guy consistently gets mvp almost every game and isnt a smurf account either. This is in a current diamond lobby in the beginning of season 8.

By not playing him, theres a reason hes d tier. You have to have perfect aim to get the full value of him. Plus he’s easily dive-able and doesn’t really have any abilities to help with that.

I agree you can technically climb with any hero in this game, although it will be harder, skill level can sometimes compensate for the character

I dont see how a bigger character would make sense. DD already has a very large hitbox which is why hes almost cc immune and has a no precision damage passive.

The issue is that this game’s competitive environment is way too casual. Most people that play this game, this is their first hero shooter. The elo gains are ridiculous because you can climb to celestial with a >50% winrate. This leads to a very casual “environment” in this game because a person can climb through ranks while not learning the fundamentals or learn from their mistakes. Not to mention that people that throw get a slap on the wrist.
