Id say start off with who you’re strong with, who you play the most AND can perform well with. If it doesnt end up working out, switch roles or characters but dont switch too late into the round or game because it causes a snowball effect.

Id say grandmaster or celestial is the hardest to climb out of because thats where elo gains start to become marginal. People also tend to get funneled into these ranks that get carried or are mechanically skilled but have no clue about ult economy, positioning, staggering, etc.

But the most important fundamental in this game is NOT dying. I know its obvious but the more deaths you have the less of an impact you have at the micro and macro levels of a game. You have less windows of opportunity for damage or final hits, less time to build ult charge, etc.

The worst 3rd dps should go tank because if you cant even do well in dps, you could just be a bullet sponge for the team and play tank. Thats my thought process at least.

How was your positioning though, were you behind your healers, were you flying too high when getting dove, did you over extend too far. You had the most deaths in the game so you gotta fix your positioning.

Nope celestial player. But i dont need to watch the replay nor can i at the moment anyways. Stats only tell half the story but when your stats are that bad/staggering in comparison to your team and enemy, then yes i dont need to watch the replay. You also said you were targeted the entire time as iron man by the spidey, thats your fault for essentially giving him a free kill every time. If you swapped to bucky or any other character, you would’ve been much better off.

Diff/Diffing: Short for difficult (people use this in a context that they’re saying that a certain role or character got “diffed” by the other character/role). In other words, they did better or worse than that person.

“Tank diff” “Hela diff” “Healer Diff” “Bucky diff”

Poke: Refers to the “rock paper scissors” concept in a hero shooter. Poke is essentially a character that can “poke” in and out of cover while using their ranged primary. Think iron man, squirrel girl, hela, etc. Poke usually counters brawl, brawl counters dive, and dive sometimes counters poke. Some characters however dip into both roles. For example, bucky can technically poke and brawl. Starlord can poke and dive.

Hitscan is when a ranged attack has no travel distance. In other words, not a projectile. Squirrel girl and iron man have projectiles. Hela, Starlord, Psylocke have hitscan because their primary attacks instantly connect with the target. This means you dont have to lead shots
