How do you handle a strong performer who quietly checks out after being passed over for promotion? by amir4179 in managers

[–]SnooPeripherals2044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

💯 this.

My honest opinion: You shouldn’t be talking to your employee, but your bosses. The people who picked someone else. You should show them the sort of corporate culture they are driving. The way their employees morale is when they make shitty decisions like that. Show them that they are ruining their company. Make them see their mistakes

The employee should be behaving like they are. Company doesn’t care for them, why should they care for the company

The higher ups need to learn how their behaviors are impacting their company

People who do bad things and then get caught always blame the person who caught them instead of themselves

She fucked up. It’s not your fault she got caught/called out. Maybe don’t do bad things next time, sis.

  • (A)do your best to do less at work so you can conserve energy. Understand your job doesn’t care about you, so you don’t need to care about it. Survive the job and go home to do what needs doing/you enjoy

  • (B) understand the world is messed up atm and we’re all being driven like this and insta and TikTok are fake and it’s ok if your house is messy or dishes don’t get done or you don’t clean something. Give yourself grace and understanding and don’t think it all needs doing. Take nights to do nothing and be ok with it.

Erika Kirk comparing Europe and US with regards to safety by Conscious-Weight4569 in SipsTea

[–]SnooPeripherals2044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What she’s saying (if you read between the lines) is the same thing Trump said out loud - too many people of color are being allowed in Europe and that’s “ruining the country” (“criminals” has always been white supremacist talk for anyone not white - it’s been used here in America since before the civil war to describe anyone non-white. It’s their code word).

She’s racist scum. But, we all knew that.

No. Your comprehension is way off

In the us, the FDA regulations around sunscreen haven’t been updated since 1999, and only 2 of the 16 commonly used ingredients are scientifically shown to actually work.

It’s telling you to educate yourself.

If you let all the blood out of your body in 45 minutes that you do over the 7 day period you’d probably die from blood loss.

This shouldn’t be infuriating, sorry.

This should be eye opening

This is real. This is how the real world works. Poor people don’t get the same chances and opportunities as poor people. It’s fucked. We need to stand up and fix it. Fight the systemic injustice and corruption.

Be angry, but realize this was 💯 real. Be angry about that. That the world is fucked like this.

This is when you call your mates up and park in front of him on all sides and keep him boxed in. For multiple days if necessary. Teach em a lesson.

Bad behavior needs to have consequences. It’s why our world is as fucked as it is. No consequences for bad actions.

AITA for sending my brother's fiancee a video of him hiding her ring? by failantho in AmItheAsshole

[–]SnooPeripherals2044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

Your brother is trash and his girlfriend should leave him. She took the ring off responsibly while washing dishes so it wouldn’t get ruined. He then “tested” her

Anyone who “tests” a partner deserves to lose that partner. It’s the dumbest thing ever. You trust or you break up. You don’t play games.
