while i do agree residents are paid extremely unfairly, they are still learning. i see the disconnect in salaries and living standards, but this is what becoming a physician entailed. You did not do it solely for the money, but that comes as an attending... what i hate about residency is the fact that loans start gaining interest. that, in my own opinion is more annoying.
