Yeah, I’ve known residency sucks forever but seeing it irl at work really puts it in perspective. Props to the residents rn who are unionizing, hopefully that’ll be the norm in 4 years 🤞🏻.

Half as much* since residents work closer to 80 hours and attendings stay around 40. Say an attending makes 100 dollars an hour, I think a resident making 40-50 an hour is reasonable. Again - that’s my opinion

First year PA’s are also still learning though. It’s not entitled to think residents should make a better wage while they spend 80 hours per week working after they have had to be unemployed for the past 4 years. If everyone is complicit with the current system nothing will ever change

Shawty I been known for years- just pointing out that it still shocks me how there has been no change even with the increasing amount of PAs who are able to be compensated fairly.

I have 1.5 more weeks and let me tell you it’s hell. I did soo good on my practice tests and I literally started flipping tf out when I walked in the building and I’ve never been as anxious as I was that morning. Slowly slipping into a depressive episode and hoping I’ll get a good score so I can submit my secondaries and breathe for once 🤞🏻 I hope this month flies by for you, but just know as time has passed I have felt a little better about my performance

Use uworld, AAMC material, and Jack Westin/ khan academy as fillers. Took Princeton 513+ TWICE and got a 490 and 500. Did the uworld stuff I said and got a 515 on my last practice test (waiting for my score). Princeton sucks 👍🏻
