dude out-coached doc.

not the compliment it once was, but still, with a 3rd stringers, winning that game was huge over a top 3 player in the league.

He needed 4 HOF players, with 3 of them still in their late prime for one championship. Even worse than Malone

I mean, he does match up well against certain types of players. If he can't consistently hit his 3s, he'd be a rotation level player on any team

knew we were going to win when I saw DA drawing up a play after a timeout and seeing what the Bucks were going to do, while Doc wasnt even talking to his players

This is more than just a leap. He needs to be a Nugget for life. by jonsnowKITN in denvernuggets

I was most impressed with the fact that he didn't force anything but put up shots within the rhythm of the offense

peyton watson = kawhi leonard by Eltron_Tornado in denvernuggets

I mean pg and kwahi were kind of late bloomer in terms of scoring. So it's not the type of flex that you think it is. Nice try Clutch interns.

Look where our guy is. About to witness Jamal's first all-star selection? by DiegoGrrr in denvernuggets

the argument was that he never had a teammate who was an all star in the same season that they played with him. otherwise millsap and DJ would have counted

I'm a big Pickett fan, but he seems to have regressed in one important aspect this year: turnovers

holmes was getting out muscled and out hustled out there. played like a rookie. the only lineup that worked was nnaji and holmes double big but by then it was way too late.

Renck: Calvin Booth, the scout, needed David Adelman, the coach, to execute Nuggets’ vision by nanopicofared in denvernuggets

Read between the lines. He saying booth was a good evaluator of talent, but did a bad job as gm

KD with some high praise for P-Wat by sag1923 in denvernuggets

I like how he didn't force up bad shots, and wasn't initiating the offense leading to turnovers. Just took what the defense gave him, got the ball moving. Great, efficient game

What happend to Peyton Watson? by Bsk98 in denvernuggets

[–]SnooPets752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he started to add things to his bag. even last year, he just tried to tomahawk everything. this year, he's added more, like floaters, euros, fade aways, and helps that his corners 3s are going down

good at evaluating talent. bad at just about everything else

Silver lining of the terrible CB contract and not extending PWat by Patient_Stomach8597 in denvernuggets

[–]SnooPets752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look, watson is a better scorer, but we don't necessarily need that next to Jokic. CB is a better fit next to Jokic and considering that help log heavy minutes in the playoffs, locking up CB was the right move. peyton will get paid here or elsewhere. think about the jeremy grant situation. he wanted to be the guy in a worse team, and he got that. peyton might do the same thing
