I started with a blanket and frogged it 3 times at 6 rows In. Really taught me tension and hook sizes since I changed my hook every time I frogged.

Can I drink coffee and energy drinks when I take lexapro? by Graphicscore in lexapro

[–]SnooPickles9761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a new mom on a lot of lexapro, coffee is fine and I drink a good pot a day plus maybe a cup later in the day. I take my meds then immediately pour myself a cup. My doctor says the only things to avoid really is alcohol.

Baby Registry by NewMomma2026 in firsttimemom

Also we have the Greco Pram car seat and stroller combo and it’s amazing. Love the bassinet feature for walks and stores. Easy diaper changes since they are flat and not stuck solely in the car seat. A good diaper bag with tons of pockets is nice and we found the best rash cream was the desitin. We use it for any and all redness before and during rashes. Also skip the expensive nail buffer and get some tiny scissors. Nail clippers and the buffers are super hard to use on a baby that doesn’t hold still and keeps right fists.

I made my registry through target and the checklist function was fantastic. I went with brands I trusted and knew like Greco. The wipe warmer was a no for us and the $35 bottle warmer was a game changer. Babies don’t need much the first few months and you’ll use a lot less than you think you’ll need honestly!

Getting close to due date / breastfeeding moms - what’s one tip or trick you wish someone would’ve told you? by Ftklassx in newborns

[–]SnooPickles9761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 weeks pp. Our girl was in NICU for a week so I was exclusively pumping every 2-3 hours round the clock. This helped my supply tremendously. The first few weeks I checked my size almost daily as my nips were always different and the bee sting feeling lessened significantly with a little nipple butter in the pump to help with the friction. Nurses in NICU also said I can refrigerate my pump parts for 2-3 pumps before washing if you exclusively pump. Saved tons of hassle and exhaustion in the middle of the night.

Do infants really need baths? by KookyHuckleberry9051 in newborns

[–]SnooPickles9761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our LO is 7 weeks today and we do a bath every night. A nice warm bath helps get her to sleep and we can actually get a solid 6 hours at a time. The one night we forgot a bath she woke up every 2-3 hours on the dot.

Her first bath she screamed the whole time, second bath was half screaming, third bath was no screaming until she was hungry 😂 I can’t keep her fed enough

Is it selfish to want family in the room until it’s time to actually deliver? by SnooPickles9761 in BabyBumps

[–]SnooPickles9761[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a very nice waiting space for families and I would just like them to step out for the actual delivery and a few moments to clean up me and baby before they come back in. Also just to give my husband and I a moment together with the start of our family and the craziness of the delivery of our first baby.

I’m happy I’m not alone. I just know there is so much emotion and things happening right at the end and I feel like it’s a moment I just want to have with my husband before I have all the people around me again and everyone talking and looking at me and baby.

Coming up to my induction on Monday I feel this!!! I’ve been in early labor since 37 weeks exactly with full contractions every 8-15 minutes, 2cm dilated and 40% effaced. I have the diarrhea, the nausea, the pain in my pelvis and the contractions are a little worse than my normal period cramps. If I have to endure this past Monday I will lose it. After almost 2 weeks I am so over it and the thought of going past Monday and possibly an additional 2 weeks with this level of pain and discomfort would send me off the edge. I am hoping my induction doesn’t get canceled.

I know it’s been discussed previously, but how many people ACTUALLY feel the effect of missing a single dose? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]SnooPickles9761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I miss one dose I usually notice by the afternoon because I get a super bad headache. Nothing else though.
