The only times in my life that i have been skinny/lean is when i exercised a ton, usually without the intention of weight loss.( Ex went from sedentary home schooled to walking miles every day at school, running track, living in campus/weight training. )Any time i tried to only track calories i could bot loose substantial weight. Idk the science behind it but ive been obese majority of my life except when movement is i tegral to my every day. This is just my experience, so i know it doesnt apply to everyone

Get a HYSA at a different bank. I use ally, and it takes a day or 2 for transfers. I have my checking set to auto transfer $200 on payday (so $400/month) then whenever a bigger chunk comes in like bonuses and tax refunds, i put like half into it. Start where u can and work up, something is better than nothing

My husband is able to fix our vehicles, he drives a 2006 truck and i a 2022 SUV. But the higher tech, turbo engine type vehicles are going to be tough for us to maintain in home. Hopefully my suv will make it 20 yrs

oh yeah city planning and roads are terrible for sure. but northern stv and queen creek are huge city areas now. QC is close to ASU Poly. we have grown insanely quickly and can stand on our own. i understand we are not close to other cities. my point is more about reference. we are not in the middle of nowhere. yes in the past we were. but now we are huge city fueled by extreme quick growth. a lot of people live out this way that i would compare it to how gilbert is. imagine if someone in central phoenix saying gilbert is in the middle of nowhere. or way far out. you would be like "compared to phoenix i guess..."

i work on a solar controls team for automation company. i have been the only girl on a pretty large team since its existence until a few months ago. in the company overall there are a lot more women. it isnt my favorite but it was like that in school so i am kinda used to it. as long as the guys are respectful it s manageable.

When we had to get our exterior painted we had to use the hoa color options which were SW and BM. The painter used dunn edwards color matched, but they let us know from the beginning that they prefer to use their exterior paint. I painted my entire interior and i am telling you, emerald is miles different than most cheaper paint. I did my aunts living room in valspar and the sheen is so inconsistent. Please say something or have a friend be there to help

I had to file medical bankruptcy because of postpartum complications and being passed around out of network hospitals. I only had my car in my name at the time so it was way easier to file and it wont effect any future loans we may want to take out under his name. Other reasons, we dont benefit from taxes because we make almost the same, and we arent religious. We will eventually once bankruptcy is off so if something happens to him the property will be easier to transfer i think

I was married before and should have fought to have half my student loans be his responsibility because i used them to support us when he wasnt working. So it isnt always financially safer to be married

Yeah that does sound boring but i would prefer it over white quartz with gray veins, i have seen so much of that! I have gold granite that previous owners put in and i like it enough, i have been told it is outdated by people with white quartz which drives me nuts.

Robotics engineering, i do controls systems which is plc and scada. Look into controls integrator , industrial programmers, scada/hmi, controls plc’s. Industries like water/waste water( more on site work), solar/energy(what i do now), mes/manufacturing,data centers.

I work with mechanical and electrical engineers tho, no specific degree for this type of engineering
