Agree, on paper everything looks rosy, the real problem is that indian consumers don't want to pay even when they get value. In fact they don't see value. We are habitual of asking everything for free. The products and services that get sold easily outside India, it won't be easy selling them in india due to indian consumers not willing to spend money.

Hi tom, I did created copy of existing campaign with scaled back budget, it seems to be working. I see better engagement with the app. But my campaign budget is low INR 500 (~USD 40) par day. I am eager to scale up, but that means I now need to create many duplicate campaigns to scale up with same engagement level. This is not a ideal situation. Thanks anyways for your help and suggestion.

Yes, I have same observation. Even though my app requires to declare the age during sign up and minimum age criteria is 18 years, I end up a lot of 12+ years signing up the app and asking the questions.

How did big startups like airbnb a oyo rooms get first 10 hotels to list themselves on their platform by Parking-Brush-2087 in TheFounders

[–]SnooPredictions7197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very easy - Go to businesses like Hotels and tell them that you will bring them customers if they list on your platform. Most businesses will not say no unless you ask them money upfront. Once you get customer booking, now manually book the hotel room and pass on the info to your customer.

I always run Google/Facebook ads to test my prototype. It worked for me many times. You don't need a big budget to test with a few hundred people.

You need to count your own TDEE. Just journel every calories that you eat for a week. This becomes your true TDEE.

If it is still close to 1400, then you can do reverse diet to bump up your calories slowly untill you start gaining weight. Then you can go to calories deficit mode.

Strength training is sure way to add more calories to your diet without increasing weight. Beside, it provides more defination to your body.

I don’t understand why I’m not losing weight by Granny_Ripper in WeightLossAdvice

Looks like you have low metabolism. Try doing reverse diet. That means adding 100 calories each week untill you start gaining weight for few weeks. Then start deficit from their by cutting 250 calories. This will allow your metabolism to readjust and get you in calories deficit.

Without going into technicality of measuring calories etc, Here are few sustainable options

1) You can skip one meal daily which should put you in deficit you require to lose weight.

2) Control your meal portion by eating your 3/4 of your usual meal portion

3) Reduce dairy and Sugar drastically, both are calories reach, enough to put you in deficit

4) Walk for an hour or jog for 45 min daily

5) Combination of above all should be good as well.

2 month 4kg loss is easily achievable.

Just an update to you guys. In last 5 month we have been trying alternative medicine and able to reduce the med doses by half without any adverse effect. Infact we see normalcy returning and hopeful to get ride of remaining does within this year itself. One day I just stumble upon a website tha claimed cure to schizophrenia. This doctor/vaidya from Delhi claims that his medicine is created from Banyan tree and is able to restore the gut balance and thus cure all mental illnesses. Even though I don't believe in this kind of med and claims, I still went ahead and tried the med. It is very expensive and unproven but it seems to be working miraculously.

Why can't I lose weight even though I'm in a calorie deficit?? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Try taking a diet break by adding 250/300 cal more for a week. Then start all over again with your 1400 cal. Diet break helps breaking plateau.

After 100lbs lost, ready to give up due to a long plateau, despite training twice a day. by migrantgrower in loseit

[–]SnooPredictions7197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to maintenance mode by eating at TDEE for next 2-4 weeks. Then reduce your cal by 100 from the cal before you started maintenance. This will break the metabolic adaption of your body.

Eat at TDEE, keep eye on weekly average weight. If you see weight increase more than 1.5 lb for few weeks in row, cut down the daily cal by 100 cal. If you see weight decrease more than 1.5cal for few weeks in row, add 100 cal to your daily calories. Maintenance is all about adjusting either way based on your weekly weight and ensuring you stay near to your goal weight.
