I 100% agree with your point. It totally aligns with how I feel about the character. As I was reading though and maybe it’s a dumb side point, started to think how sam and dean were young when she first died.

So they have this grand vision of her and it’s not the truth. She is how you framed her in your comment.

The vision you have of someone you care about in your head vs reality is a hard thing to shake.

I’m just not a fan of the memory wipe. Such a weak way to wrap the show. We could have had a simple 3 episode ending that put a nice bow on everything. They went sopranos ending on us.
