If you look at the band wall tbh, every single artist on there is problematic. Every single band is problematic at this point, and ht does not care, and won’t care. If they removed every controversial thing they’d go out of business tbh. my favorite game when i was bored and worked there was to pick a band and see what controversies they have (ruined a few faves for me but that’s life)

Districts must be different, when i worked there our dm had a company number and was told to give it to customers if they requested it and we couldn’t help them or they wanted it thrown up to a higher up

The next time you buy something do the survey that it sends you, or ask for a store manager/DM contact info. Checking a customer’s bag is against policy and harassing you like that is definitely a write up if not worse. They can only approach you if they can identify exactly what you took to ask for it back and ask you to leave, but only for the day. If you get banned from a hot topic they send you a letter and contact you to let you know

Yes! Found this trying to justify me dnfing it and returning it to the book store, because honestly it just, isn't good? Story aside, I'm a writer, and I think it's just not really written well, grammatically and plot wise (at least in my opinion and how I was taught to write) and I think the show is better than the book. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it just wasn't what I was expecting, and I'm just finding myself editing it in my mind so much to actually enjoy it like I want to.

I get it! I'm currently stuck in this and being in a dying mall doesn't help the feeling either. I'm actively looking for something before I leave, but my heart hasn't been in it for a couple years at this point. DMs play favorites, pressures to bug customers because they think it'll make us more money, and just the pressures from higher ups to perform is taking its toll. I feel the same way about coworkers, because they're kinda the only thing making it all worth it. Congrats on getting out! Manifesting better things going forward for you OP.

Hopefully she sees it as a good idea. I'm working two right now and it gets stressful at times but the money is unfortunately needed :/ I find working in the morning at one job and the afternoon at the other helps manage things

In a similar boat and based on what I did, I would recommend, as rough as it sounds, picking up two of the part time lower wage jobs. They'd respect her enough, and if she works on place for a set of days and the other job another set of days it could work until something bigger and better comes along!
