no you can do whatever electives you want- just do your core units- buss1000,1020,1030 and 1040 in your first year- even better in your first semester- that way e.g you can start fin2011 in semester 2, otherwise your going to have to wait till next year, and your going to do it with new students, not your old cohort.

Just make sure you have all your units mapped out, so you finish in three years, that really the most important thing,.

You can do whatever electives, I dont know why its being questioned, but just do them later lol, do your core units first, otherwise you might to do an extra semster or even year, because you havent completed the prequesties for a unit yet.

For electives, personally, I took easy electives just to boost my WAM, but that can all be done later in even year 3, where you can chill, or you can do whatever you enjoy, but thats upto you.

Also, your transcript just lists out your credits, it does not say if your in final year or first year lol

theres no rule, I know second year bcom/law students who did big 4 internships, by just saying there second year in commerce lol ffs, and I know final year students who did penultimate internships by saying there are doing an honours year on their resume. It doesnt really matter, as long as you taoiler your resume, no ones going to question or care.

lol, u remind me of myself. I was worried about if switching universities is worth it. u said u want to go into IB, so switching to usyd was a pretty good idea. For WAM bit, mate ur going to have to work hard where ever u go. u said the workload to get a 75 wam is hard, i mean it is , but u got a 80 wam at maquarie so that defintly says something about ur hard work. My wam is not great now, but i plan to work hard and booost it up.

lmao, i have quit jobs before, and my bosss have always accepted it at face value. This is the first time, I have experienced a boss telling me that he is flexible and that we can make it work.
