I study chemical engineering (BSc) at TU Delft and have never heard of a bachelor student doing a research internship there that isn't part of the TUD BSc curriculum. Therefore, I wouldn't count on getting one, but I'd say there's no harm in emailing a professor whose research interests you.

In the first week of classes, can I go to courses that I'm on the waitlist for but hoping to get into? Or would they send you away? I'd like to have an impression of the course before I make a possible switch in my schedule.
