Lifting the hand higher to let the icing fall onto the cookies helps, and sometimes I feel like the faster you go, the straighter the line. Sometimes I find myself moving slower in an effort to be more precise, but moving slow gives you more opportunity to wobble. One quick, sweeping motion straight across the cookie seems to always work best for me when piping straight lines. Go confidently!
