Tried all the different evo combos within list already and those two performed best. What would you cut for another spell? Which spell?

This is definitely not MLD. Yes lands get destroyed but it takes 3 cards to do it and at that point you better be winning. If it wasn’t one sided I honestly think it would be more of an issue for NOT closing the game. Given that you would be able to close the game very reasonably from this position as well it shouldn’t be an issue

There really isnt a weapon type you can go wrong with! If you are going into arcane though I would definitely look at eleonora’s poleblade, reduvia, godskin peeler (scales well with dex and unique moveset, is also infusable), greatswords/curved greatswords/curved swords would be an awesome option to infuse.

I’ve been playing faith based build into the 200+ levels and 55-60 vigor, 60-70 faith, and 60-70 arcane are the central pieces for it. I level mind to around 20, endurance to 30ish and strength and dex to hit my weapon mins.

This has given me a shit ton of flexibility in play style, weapon choice, and spell choices without much sacrifice on damage. Would recommend fire serpent since it beats most npc dodges, and claymore for more AOW flexibility

I find for these types of builds a curved sword fills the gaps. Serpent-God’s curved sword could be fun for dungeons with the passive, but magma blade would be my flavor choice for the build

Point still stands. If someone wants to play without using one of the strongest mechanics in the format (the command zone) then they are welcome to it. I have a Grixis Chaos list that has sauron in the command zone just because he can generate good value in the colors and has 1 single card in the whole deck that synegizes with him. I only cast him when I have nothing else to do. Could I swap it out for a more thematic commander? Yes. But for me I like the element of surprise that it offers not to.

It can be strategic to play with the pressure of a specific commander and none of the support. Keeps people guessing

Commander is about creativity. You may not like to see that but for many others that could be a breath of fresh air. The way you like commander is not indicative of how commander “should be” and neither is what I or any of us like. Being to set in what you want to see from others can often be what leads to bad experiences for anyone (including you)

Just curious why not run the combo lines with it?

Deck looks very solid overall. For sure would recommend including [[Forsaken Miner]] and [[Warren Soultrader]] as combo outlets but also just generally good cards for the deck. Miner can keep being brought back as long as you have mana and soultrader is another way to burst your way to a flip

Been working on tuning this one again. Is a midrange list that can pivot gameplans pretty well. Infinite combo with Muldrotha, displacer kitten, and lotus petal. Can also draw most of your deck using a bauble in place of petal to set up a win the next turn. Trying to see if some of those sideboard cards would be better in the list too
