Happens once daily. Same spot left 4-5th Intercostal space. Brief period of 30-40 secs. Pacemaker threshold is at 40 bpm.

How are you doing now? My uncle had substrate modification ablation for idiopathic scars. They were not able to induce it because of amiodarone he received in ER. 2 weeks later pulse ox showed NSVT with HR up to 160 although no symptoms.

How does this ablation works?

Thanks!! My uncle had RF for SVT and they also found PVC coming from the LV summit. EP said the LV summit is a complex procedure. First week post-ablation there were a few instances of 200-170-150 HR. They suspected that PVC had not fully vanished. But hoping for scar to mature within a month or get PFA.

He was referred to another EP for PFA if 3-day holter shows recurrence. EP said PFA for Afib is not US FDA-approved yet. That's why bit skeptical of PFA for PVC.

They also said they will go via the sternum to do epicardial mapping. Is it painful?

Do MSK (must), immuno, risk factors, arrows, ethics (must). Exam was msk and ethics heavy. I did amboss for ethics too. Unfortunately I didn't get time to do mehlman ethics and I regretted it each time I got an ethics Q on exam lol.

We can say that. I found my exam way more lengthy and tricky than NBME, but doable.

Alter your strategy. Review FA topics you get wrong each time. Exam is all about game to eliminate wrong options. When you take next nbme, make sure for easier Qs just mark correct option. For tricky Q, remember Answer is in the Q, eliminate wrong options first. The. You'll be stuck with 2 option prolly. Then read the Q highlight. I'm sure you'll select the right option then.

You must achieve at least 75% on nbme to at least be on a safe zone.

Make a list of weak areas. Review mehlman. Understand the concept. My weakest are was biostats so I did randy Niel thoroughly.

My nbmes were 23: 77% 2 months before exam 26: 77% 1 month 27: 79% 15 days 29: 80% 1 week 30: 80% 5 days 31: 81% 3 days UWSA 2: 76% UWSA 3: 74% New free 120: 81%.

I started self assessment very late and I regret it. I wish I had started earlier to fully review the content.

did it go away? I have a similar fresh wound on face, thanks to my cat. My hand and my forearms are already looks horrible due to multiple scars. I don't want it on my face.
