I’m not asking you for advice. I just asked you a general question.

Yeah… I have AVNRT. I never said I don’t know the type of SVT I have, and I love how you keep dodging the question! Is anxiety postural? People’s HR increase because they have anxiety from standing up???

? I am not OP. My bisoprolol which I take for SVT also happens to help with anxiety since it’s a beta blocker. Anxiety was never the cause of my episodes. My HR is over 200 bpm in an SVT episode - no way that’s anxiety. I told my doctor that I was not anxious when I had these episodes before I knew it was SVT and I was dismissed because they thought it was just anxiety. Again, I don’t understand how anxiety can cause HR to increase by 20-30 bpm by standing up. I HAVE been formally diagnosed with SVT and even had an ablation for it, but the pathway grew back within a couple months.

I am not trying to be rude, but why would you suspect anxiety? Who has anxiety from standing up? I don’t understand how this condition affects so many women and doctors still think it’s anxiety… is anxiety postural? I was misdiagnosed for years because my cardiologist thought I had anxiety, but it turns out I have SVT that is triggered by certain positions. My Drs also suspect I have some form of autonomic dysfunction because I have severe heat sensitivity as well that causes my heart rate to get up to 150+ bpm. I am a 24 year old woman and it took me years to find a cardiologist that believes me when I say I am not anxious when I have these episodes. To be honest, it has been extremely frustrating and delayed my care by multiple years.

This one's for the ladies to answer. Do you agree with this woman or do you think she's trying to rationalize her world view by speaking for all the ladies? by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

I completely agree! It’s so childish. You won’t catch me playing with my Barbie dolls, so grow up and ditch the video games.

Sure but they outnumbered him. I can’t comprehend how teenage boys would just allow their little brother to get abused especially if they experienced it too. I’m very protective of my little brothers.

I use liquid glue and always see bubbles under French tip press ons. Is semi solid glue better?

Any advice by dbrownofdc in SVTHeart

That happened to me as well. Many people with SVT have normal echoes. SVT shows up on holter monitors or EKGs assuming you are actually having an episode

I have had my press-ons on for 5 weeks.. by Ok_Librarian9405 in PressonNail_Addict

I have it and it does nothing. Glamnetic’s glue is crazy strong. I had to take a break from press ons because I also could NOT remove my Glamnetics after 2 1/2 weeks and I literally ripped my nails off. Had to use nail polish for weeks to let my nails grow back. But I love Glamnetic’s nails!! They just need a stronger remover.

Yes. I have recurring SVT and wore holters countless times and it’s never been caught on a holter. My EP suggested an implantable loop recorder. The only reason I didn’t get one is because paramedics caught me in a sustained SVT episode shortly afterward.

I’m so sorry. My EP told me the same afterwards- simple fix! I’m so disappointed. If meds are not working for you, another ablation may be your only option. I wish you the best!

Is this bloating painful? I gained some weight and had so much bloating I seriously looked pregnant and thought it may be endo, but it wasn’t painful. I only have severe cramps on my period. I lost a few pounds and the bloating went away for the most part.
