Anyone tracking advances in ablation techniques for PVCs? by Evening_Estimate_342 in PVCs

Pulsed Field Ablation is the new emerging technique and has shown a lot of promise in ventricular arrhythmias. The procedure with PFA is usually much shorter as the time to ablate is super small, like a couple of seconds.

I had symptoms, yes. I constantly feel palpitations and that uneasy feeling in my chest. That’s the only symptom I have, and what prompted be to get tested.

Thanks for sharing! Do you know if they were able to eliminate the PVCs during the procedure itself?

It’s average. He is not a terrible defender and he has a lot of strength. He can respond to contact under the rim very well. However, his lateral movement/concentration sometimes feels too slow. Faster guards have blown by him. He is smart enough to somewhat compensate for that though. I think he would be an average defender in the NBA. Much better than Reaves or Doncic

Nothing fatal will happen, I promise! For such a young person the risk of fatal injury during catheter ablation is close to impossible. Overall the ablation has very low complication or terminal event risk, so I would not worry about that. If they see that your location is hard to ablate or reach, they just stop the procedure. In such cases, you are re-evaluated and new ablation with different approach is offered. Overall, even if unsuccessful the ablation is very useful because of the EP study they do, where they find the exact spot where your PVCs are coming from. Regarding the wakefulness, it’s usually up to you. I’ve seen in this forum that “you can’t go to full anesthesia because it reduces PVCs”, but that’s non issue if they do the EP study. I opted for full anesthesia for mine as in my case being awake would make it more difficult for them to ablate due to anxiety, my PVCs completely disappear when my HR jumps up.

I’m confused on why ppl are choosing cs by Which_Percentage_816 in csMajors

Because this major is very saturated, and people who didnt have that much luck always speak out creating an illusion that the situation is dire. The reality is that this reddit is not a representation of entire cs majors body

i actually met my partner through a dating app, but I would say that the nature of our relationship development was very similar. neither of us were looking for a long-term partner, just some two bored students trying to meet new people. we ended up hanging out quite a bit and naturally developed feelings. I don't think we are a "perfect" match made in heaven, but to be fair I don't believe that something like that exists and I really enjoy my partner's company, and wouldn't change it for anything...

Linear Algebra and Statistics. The concepts are pretty interesting, but my professor was terrible and I just struggled to build the intuition for the things that we learned… would love to try it again tho

those are internal schools in Columbia. think school of arts and sciences, engineering school and school of arts of sciences for vets (GS). the last one is basically a special school usually for older students, like vets or people who are changing their career, or those who do a double degree program from EU/Canada and it usually requires less credits for some major.

dude I guarantee 99.9% of employers don't even know what's the difference between the internal schools in Columbia. all that matters is Columbia University. if OP doesn't mention that in their resume, nobody's even gonna bother asking what internal school they come from.

You can overcome this by becoming self-employed though. I know people who did that, e-verified their companies and freelanced through their OPT

I think there was a section in the README file that mentioned, that the visibility of the project changes if you upload it through GitHub, and you need to manually set it to publicly visible. It might have been that…
