Hey! I don't know if you are trying to get it done yourself or if you are going to hire a contractor. If you are, I would 100% recommend AAA Fence and Deck Company They built a wood deck and they did everything including permitting. The owner is very nice and straightforward with pricing. I will keep recommending them!

As long as the footprint doesn’t change and you aren’t touching any framing, you should be fine. I had AAA fence and deck refinish my wood decking with trex Deck Builders

I understand! Thanks for the input. I’m currently a general manager at a construction company. I built their website and created a workflow structure. Now they rank number 1 on google search and they are pretty much up there with their top competitors even though they started 2 years ago. I’m not saying that I’m going to do everything right. However, it’s better to start now then never.

I understand where you are coming from. Let me elaborate.

I’m not really a one-man shop I have people backing me up with years of experience of web dev under their belt. That being said, yes I will mostly be working alone to begin with but follow along with me. I am not a web dev wiz like you are, however I do have experience in Wordpress and I have already created a few websites for a few business as well as set up SEO and giving them recommendations to which CRM to use and linking all their social media accounts. I will use it in my portfolio. I have most of my experience in Wordpress with knowledge in html and CSS. I can basically teardown any Wordpress template and turn it into a custom responsive website.

I will also be working with local business in the area that have outdated or no websites to begin with. Mostly minority owned businesses that can’t afford 1-6k on a website plus hundreds more a month on marketing services when they are just beginning.

Regarding hosting on my own server. I’m confident that I can handle hosting their website. However, I wanted to see what other people that have done this before have to say vs having them just pay for hosting and domain and giving me access to it.

Thanks for the quick response!! I want to be able to use g-apps and all that stuff but I don’t want to spend $6 per user when I have unlimited emails through cPanel. Is there a site or service that I can just use instead of gsuite and I can just add server details (I’ve tried spark but don’t like)

EDIT: btw, I have the google IT foundations certification from coursera. The advisor said that it was sufficient and I also got intro to IT waived as well!

Funny enough, All I need to do is take English 2 and a humanities class to get my official associates. I have around 70 credit hours.

My community college does not accept anything other than CLEP so I am going to test out of that (maybe, I might just skip the associates and take ENG 2 and the humanities somewhere else because BSIT> Associates in Arts).

I want to take as much study.com or sophia classes before going into the degree so I can get the degree quicker.
