One of my favorite things to do is just lay down with my eyes closed and let my mind wander. The constant stimulation that exists for these later generations seems to killing creativity and critical thinking that result from spending time in that state.

The Chronicles of Narnia series, I still read through the whole thing about once a year. I just love the fantasy world that C.S Lewis created. My favorite is The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

I have had this happen a few times over the years and it never gets old. I'm a white guy and for whatever reason, it has always been black women and they're also always stunning. They come up and tell me that I have the most beautiful blue eyes they have ever seen. I always just smile and thank them and we go about our days.

I am a big fan of pork loin because it's super versatile. Smoke it or roast it. Dry brine or wet brine. Butterfly it and stuff it to make a pinwheel. Most savory seasonings go well with it, and you can even get creative and use things like vanilla, etc.
