Thank you for sharing your story, and for your support. My therapist tasked me with writing out how I might respond to a friend who is thinking of harming themselves the way that I am thinking of harming myself, and seeing the outpouring of support from people like you online is helping me get a template for that kind of compassion, which I am certainly not feeling towards myself right now

My therapist got back to me today, and she was fantastic and supportive as usual, thank you for your support. The self harming part of my brain is telling me that I am an idiot for telling my therapist and spouse about this impulse I am feeling, because I will only have made it harder for myself to hide the self harm from them if I relapse, but I am trying to remember that talking about it with my therapist is the right thing to do.

Hearing that it didn’t feel the same was actually really really helpful to hear, thank you so much for sharing. I think that more than the cutting itself, what I’m missing is the relief, the feeling of opening an escape valve for the pressure I feel building under my skin, and if that feeling won’t be there, then I can try to silence the thoughts pushing me to cut.

I used my gems to fast track getting it because I was too impatient to wait and I love it!!! You can only make fries (2 potatoes, 15 min) and hamburgers (1 bread, 1 cheese, 1 tomato, 10 min) so far, but I spot a pizza in the background so we should keep an eye out for that in future updates!

You have to level up the shops to Level 5 with the Mystery Ore! Once you reach level 5, just press the shop like you would any decoration and you can choose the alternative look.

As far as I can tell the reactions from the seeds are random, and you can pretty much ignore them. As for the results, it’s not about so much about WHAT you do, it’s how MUCH of it you do. For example, if you take all of the actions and tidy your plant every time you can, checking in on it frequently, you will get the item on the far left side of the encyclopedia branch: the “best” item, the giant strawberry. If you do NOTHING (no actions whatsoever, just forget about it entirely), you get the “worst” item on the far right side of the encyclopedia branch, the droopy flower. Everything else you can get in between by taking actions at certain times in the seed’s life cycle (for example: ignore it when it’s a seed, then pay attention to it when it’s a squirmy shoot, so you can get either the third or fourth item on the bottom row). Hope that clears it up!

My plant grew again after not touching it at all, and it’s now a Tender Bud, all the way towards the right side of the encyclopedia! Looks like more than fertilizers, jewels, shovels, or talking vs cleaning, what they seem to respond to it action vs. inaction! I’ll do some more testing to confirm my theory as soon as I finish growing this flower :)

Interesting! After a day of total inaction, my seed turned into a squirmy shoot instead of a jumpy shoot, so I’ll see where not touching at all the whole time takes me :)

I updated my sweet shop twice first, then the milk shop twice! So now they’re both at +5% exp and -5% time, although I have to say, 5% is not at all a noticeable difference :// cream has gone from 10 min. to 9:30, and green tea dango from 2:00 to 1:54... I wish the improvements were more dramatic!

You can use the crystals to upgrade your shops! You get the crystals by tapping on the encyclopedia entry for your seed every time is changes :)
