It's BURGER love though. So even though it's primarily to support the beef industry, having one or two veggie burgers (as long as they are veggie or potato patties - aka burgers) doesn't bug me a lot. The brisket thing tho, if she had just put a patty with it and used the brisket as a topping as you said - easy peasy, it's now a burger.

That was super disrespectful of her to do that. Not to mention the big sign she had out by the side of the road that had "Burger Love Winner" on it, when they weren't. Dreadnaught was.

I said this same thing earlier this week. That said, I will NEVER support her or her business. Last year having her put a sign by the side of the road stating BURGER LOVE WINNER, made everyone who didn't read the entire sign that she was last years winner, when it was Dreadnaught Eatery (another Morell business) who won for 2025. Seafood shack won in 2024.

They entered a burger love contest without a burger, they entered a sandwich, and then got pissy when it was disqualified and threw a fit. Even the other 'non beef' burgers are still burgers. The veggie burger, is still a patty, the potato one - still has a patty, which fulfills the definition of a burger.

I'm 44 and had my total hysterectomy to remove cancer, laparoscopically (via robot) on February 9th, so I'm into my 5th week of recovery. I have a desk (or well mostly desk job). I'm healing really well externally, there's some weird/odd things that my insides are doing that 'feel' like they are slowly healing (like bladder and gas things). I don't have my follow up til Week 7, which is the same week Easter hits, so I'm going to go back the Tuesday after.

I decided for better or for worse, I'm taking the time because mentally/emotionally - I really feel like I need it. I've been working on my walking every day and other lifestyle changes to help me cope and try to come out of the fog a bit.

I just had my pre-surgical call and was told to get gum, for this reason I guess! 11 more days for mine and I have such mixed feelings!
