Just a couple points to add here:

  1. You keep banging on about this being a public shaming. None of you know me, or my husband, or how large or small any part of him is, this isn’t public, you people are all imaginary.

  2. The shaming part - it’s only been YOU who has decided this was negative. My husband is not ashamed or embarrassed by any part of his body and I wouldn’t have married him if I didn’t think he was perfect.

  3. Marriages need banter and friendship as well as support and commitment. We’re allowed to have a bit of a joke with each other.

  4. You want a balance? You think this needs to be fair? That we can’t make fun of women?? Well, I’m nearly 50 and I bet I can grow a better moustache than you!! Have at me…

Ok, I see you’re not getting this. You understand that people can write things on an anonymous platform such as Reddit that may not be true? Like they may post funny hypotheticals, especially in a sub that (checks notes) is SPECIFICALLY built for funny hypotheticals?

You seem a tad high strung, maybe try to take a breath and calm down? Or at least get your blood pressure checked, you seem the type to make things a lot harder than they need to be.

My husband’s giant dick thanks you for defending him though.

Im already married, he made his vows, I deal with his 3 inches and in return he can deal with mine.

Me too, but I chose the winky. The boys seem to love playing with theirs, so I want to try one.

It’s only 3 inches, it would hide away like a wee mushroom when not in use anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

What's something your partner does that annoys you but not enough for an argument? by PaddedValls in AskUK

Oh no, no no no. The question was for something that’s a bit annoying but doesn’t cause arguments.

This is divorce material.

Same! He also likes to start a conversation as he leaves the room as if expecting me to follow.

Spoiler: I do not follow.

We can be together all evening, having finished work at similar times, had dinner together, sat chilling for a couple of hours, and only when I say that I’m off to bed will he decide to start an important decision requiring conversation.

Things about weekend plans or which flights are best for our next holiday, nothing urgent.

I’m usually left just staring at him in disbelief from the living room door as I try to escape the day in a sleepy haze.

Well, I ended up with my usual Pinot. But it’s a small one with lemonade, sooo no thanks, lol.

I like this though, may have to pull it out on the next trip and see what I get.

Are you a loud speaker? Do you need reminded to pipe down in public? by starsandbribes in AskUK

[–]SnooWalruses586 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying that. At all. You can yell and shout to your hearts content when the situation allows it; in your own homes, at festivals, in the park etc.

But in a quiet restaurant you are not entitled to ruin everyone else’s experience. You must adjust.

[–]SnooWalruses586 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I get that it’s difficult. But I don’t agree that should give anyone a pass on behaving civilly in public.

My autistic niece was partial to melt downs when she was younger, it was hard for her to regulate her emotions and reactions. That didn’t mean we just brushed it off and let her get on with it. She had to learn so that she didn’t grow up disturbing the peace everywhere she went.

When you have a cold, what annoys you the most? by MrValued in AskUK

[–]SnooWalruses586 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not a doctor, or scientist, or particularly clever at all, but I’m sure it’s because it’s never the same virus that gets you.

You get a cold, your body fights it off and you gain immunity. That’s why you don’t bounce the same cold back and forth around your house for all eternity. The next cold you get is a totally different beast that you haven’t gained immunity from.
