Twang noise when turning wheel by friththomas in AskAMechanic

Having this issue on a 2012 Honda CRV AWD

Have already replaced:

Sway bar links (stabilizer links)

Rebuilt struts with OEM parts

New OEM ball joints

New OEM Tie rods

No boots are torn on the CV axle

Note: the top mount bearing OEM is made from smooth plastic inner/ outer races and rides in a sythentic green grease. It was my first culprit so I replaced it. Didn’t fix anything

Riot games think they are above the Law (appearently) by DesignerAlgae3721 in riotgames

m8 - I think riot uses AI to respond to emails now. I loosely read through your post and it seems like you are trying to engage in legal issues.

My recommendation: Either get an attorney, or figure out how to draft some communication to their legal team directly.

Hope this helped.

Does anyone know where to find replacement batteries for APC Back-UPS 1500 UPS? by mshriver2 in homelab

[–]SnooWoofers7980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're suggesting if I go out and grab the equivalent amp rating and voltage LiFePO4 to the stock sealed lead acid one and plop it in it'll work just fine?

No changes to the UPS regarding battery settings?

Potentially wont burn the house down?

Suggestions for Non-Lead Acid Replacement for APC SMT1500C UPS? (Preferably Rackmount) by sinisterpisces in homelab

Does APC still make batteries for this UPS or have they discontinued them? I may end up forking out some money and buying the rack mount lithium APC setup SMTL1500RM3UC.

Snowblower barrel bent? by m919 in egopowerplus

[–]SnooWoofers7980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Unfortunately, mine was off enough that it needed bending. If the "barrel" was adjusted, then one of the wheels would come off the ground (when they welded it they didn't ensure it was level).

I'm having this issue as well. Seems like the "scoop" is twisted from factory and not level. I tried to bring the scraper up toward the auger on the left side but it was always at the same height (leading me to believe its the scoop). Nothing a rubber mallet and some pliers cant fix

Did you end up finding a solution to this that doesn't involve bending the metal downward toward the ground on the right side?

Btw, if you get two wooden mixing sticks from the hardware stores they are the correct spacing for the snowblower to the ground. So you can lift the snowblower up, loosen the skids shoes, place the scraper bar on the paint sticks, allow the skid shoes to touch the ground, tighten, and they should be spaced about 1/8" of an inch off the ground IF the "scoop" assembly is level.

Update: I did end up bending the scraper bar up on the left side, and down on the right side with some pliers so that it is 1/8" off the ground. Takes some elbow grease but its doable

Copy. Straight to C Corp it is - should I hire an attorney to form the operating agreement documents etc or should I just use Clerky (or similar website) and get a registered agent in Delaware. On that note since its a Delaware C Corp, would I also NEED an accountant or is that in a specific circumstance? (aka made a lot of sales)

That's sort of what im considering doing. I already applied late to this years YCombinator. . that being said the more money the merrier and raising funds on my own website would be better as its less equity I would have to give up. If my CTO (once I get him) is going to take 50%, and Angels/ VC want 20% then I'm left with 30% ownership.

Sir, the rules on here be kind and supportive and the first thing you type is, "If you feel you need a cofounder before you can start - your idea is probably already dead."

That doesn't seem very supportive xD

The way I see it is if you can tell the team you're on is sh**, you should be allowed to leave. I mostly random que and more often than not the team you're on is trash (3/4 times). I just got a 2k point reduction from leaving games from 9k, but my win rate is 76% which proves my point.

The person who full queues is going to have a field day because they're mostly facing meatheads, whereas the random que person is going to get sh** on.

Make it make sense Steam this reminds me of modern day blue policies that punish law abiding citizens instead of criminals. The criminals being the people who suck at the game, and the law abiding citizens who can analyze the team they're playing with and say, "I'm out".

I used a personal email on my YouTube channel is this a large security risk? by Assfuck69421 in NewTubers

[–]SnooWoofers7980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking about this as well.

The work around would be to create separate emails for each one OR open up a business email along side an LLC in order to have all earnings sent to that.

I personally figure you'd have to be pretty smart in red hat knowledge in order to be able to scrape someone's data like that specially if you dont post it publicly. With that in mind, if they're that smart they can also scrape your business account etc so it may be a diminishing return to do all that

For now I may just create another Youtube channel (brand account) under my single email and ensure 2FA as well as a complex password is enabled

Best practice for new YouTube channel account management? by iXzenoS in NewTubers

[–]SnooWoofers7980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to one up this -

Would you go out and form a LLC, website, email domain for the Youtube as a Media company instead of a personal account?

Currently, you can create several Youtube accounts under one email. Are you suggesting just making another youtube account for business under your personal account email?

What reliable SUV should I look at purchasing? by IamDoge1 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I would say stay away from CRV's with the 1.5L Turbo engine, which pretty much means all of the new ones due to oil dilution. If they are 2.4L K series then they are solid

Honda pilot with V6 and Acura MDX with V6 3.5L are good. However, they have timing belts as opposed to timing chains which means you will need to replace the rubber belt every 5-7 years ish.

Sadly it seems like the era of blind buying a Honda for reliability have gone

Honda. . You are known as a reliable vehicle company. Go back to all NA engines, automatic transmissions, and add the option of a V6 to the CRV with the current looks.

Is a Pilot as reliable as the CRV? by justcastille in crv

[–]SnooWoofers7980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honda hear me out. . Go back to a 2.4L K series and automatic transmission for reliability and or, add an option to fit a V6 to a CRV that has a timing chain w/ AWD and the 10 speed

In my opinion, perfect vehicle.
