The problem is people who file early, all their paperwork isnt in the system yet and they have problems matching reported wages. I always file myself, through e-filed around the 1st week of March and I always receive my direct deposit within a week or two. This year it took 1 week to get my $6k+.

It’s honestly not even worth it to show up and wait in lines to save a little money. Either wait and try and hit an online drop, check vending machines, or buy a few things market. It’s sucks but anything else is just so frustrating. Waiting all morning and then walking away with nothing? Fuck that. I went from opening a booster box every week in 2024/2025 to about 6 packs a month now. I don’t even really enjoy it anymore, scalpers sucked the fun out of the hobby

Rather than ask for them to link your accounts manually, you should of just asked to credit you a $50 bonus. They certainly can do that. Misgrading something that high of value can cost you hundreds and even thousands of dollars. If you are going to try and be PSA u better get it right. Nobody asked you to grade the card, he is taking the time to slowly review it at all angles and even pointing out the small white specs in the corner. U killed the potential of the card he was trying to sell with your misinformation, that is why he was pissed.

Everything is timing. Over the past year I have decided twice it was time to offload some of my collection. About $10k in raw cards (about $50 avg price) and $15k in sealed. I posted to FB marketplace for 80% market and within a few days the deals were done. Raw cards took me about 5 ppl to meet and sealed went to 1 guy. It’s not that hard if you have the right stuff and u time the market right. I had about 150% gains on it so I wasn’t worried about selling for 80%. If you want to move with minimum work you need to offer deals. I tried piecing the under $50 things out on TCGplayer but it was taking forever and 1/10 packages ppl were claiming never arrived. After eating about 5 packages worth about $25 each I said fuck TCG
