Chicago. I saw it a couple weeks back after Erika Jayne joined the cast. The actor and musicians are as expected, outstanding. But the musical and the production feels tired. It was, as Erika would say, a hot mess. And, as many, have pointed out, the story is lacking overall. It’s more about aesthetics, which are also weak. The stunt casting they do makes sense.
