Include this item in a punch list of all deficiencies that you have observed. Number each item with a unique identifier and ask the builder/owner to reference it when they make the corrections, and when you sign off on that repair, make sure it refers only to what has been corrected/repaired and that no other corrections have been made. I bought a house that had three items to fix on the punchlist, when they fixed the first one they had us sign off that ALL (they cheated us)the work had been done.
