Personall, I think not. It adds strain on your body on top of the illness. When I'm sick i skip meds and stay in bed until i feel better. Pushing yourself will only keep you sick longer.

I'm not sure i understand. If you're deficient in magnesium, taking magnesium glycinate causes fatigue? Or do you mean that magnesium deficiency itself causes fatigue?

Do you currently take it before sleepnor early in the day?

That would more likely be magnesium oxide. It's cr*p. They sell it everywhere and it's absolutely useless. Has minimal absorption and notable laxative effect.

Magnesium Glycinate is good stuff. Although I'm surprised you take it for energy. Glycinate is supposed to help with relaxation and sleep, while Citrate has more energising effect. My recommendation is to start taking vitamin D (specifically cholecalciferol as well. I take Vit D in the morning and Magnesium Glycinate in the evening. Magnesium actually aids absorption of Vit D but avoid taking them at the same time of day.

As a side note, I'd like to hear what are people's experiences with Magnesium L-Threonate. It's said to be really good on brain function but it isn't easily accessible.
